Q: "Is it safe?"

Yes. Land sailing is statistically very safe, much more so than bicycling. Your land yacht is equipped with best-in-class engineering and safety features. You will be outfitted with a helmet and sailing gloves. Goggles and knee pads optional. Your guide will provide a complete lesson with examples in the practice area before you can sail further out on your own. There is very little risk by simply being mindful of what's going on around you, watching where you're going, and using good common sense.

Q: What should I bring?

A personal water bottle, sunglasses, sun lotion, lip balm, phone, important medications, and an enthusiastic desire to have a great time and make new friends. Please leave any small, loose, or valuable items in the shuttle van while land sailing.

Q: What should I wear?

Suncreen, sunscreen ..and more sunscreen! Sunglasses and closed-toe shoes. Full length pants and a light long sleeve shirt are best even in very warm weather. Bandanas are available in the event of dust. During the early spring and late fall, please dress in layers and bring a coat, hat, gloves ..even a muffler.. The sunny desert air can sometimes feel very chilly at speed while sailing in the breeze, and the muffler will keep your nose warm :)

Q: What kind of water and snacks are there? Can I take these with me while sailing?

Help yourself at any time to the fully stocked totes located in the front cabin of the shuttle van(s). Water tote: Fiji® - individual bottles. Snacks tote: assorted fresh fruits, chips, energy bars, treats, hand towlettes and more. You may carry a water bottle with you while land sailing, however, please enjoy the snacks at base.

Q: How do I redeem a Gift Certificate?

Please call (702) 670-1128 or email the date(s) you are interested in, including your name, certificate number, and telephone number. You will receive a prompt confirmation.
